Released on World Day for Farmed Animals, “Tears Me Up” is Bryon William Harris’ second single with Artists & Activists Records. It’s all about waking up to the pain others go through—stuff we usually scroll past—and realizing you can’t unsee it once you do. The track also hits on that "if I only knew then what I know now" vibe, but reminds us: growth means owning it and moving forward.
ABOUT
I make music that lives somewhere between indie rock and soul. Singing has always been a part of who I am, and I’ve been lucky enough to train at the Schwob School of Music and Boston Conservatory, learning from legends like Kathryn Lewek (yeah, the Met Opera queen herself). I’ve gone from Yale Opera Theater to the International Lyric Academy in Italy, but these days you’re more likely to find me on stages at animal rights events and conferences or anywhere people are ready to connect through meaningful music that inspires change. Right now, I’m deep in the indie-rock-soul world — writing and dropping original singles with Artists & Activists Records.
